PRAYER INTENTIONS OF THE SUPERIOR GENERAL
FOR THE YEAR 2023
JANUARY
That as we celebrate the year of our beloved heavenly patron St. Francis de Sales, we will resolve to live the spirituality of the heart and be passionate in our apostolate of parish mission preaching for the glory of the triune God and the salvation of the souls, we pray
FEBRUARY
All those Fransalian Associates in formation be inspired by the spirit and spirituality of St. Francis de Sales and live the Salesian virtues in their daily lives, we pray
MARCH
That we may grow in the virtue of humility, which helps us accept our weaknesses and failures with trust in God’s mercy, and our joys with gratitude, we pray
APRIL
That many more committed young men join the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales following the exemplary and joyful life witnesses of Fransalians, we pray
MAY
That all our congregational initiatives like De Sales International Film & Media Academy (DeSIFMA), De Sales and Mermier Resource Center, Parish Mission Preaching, Cause of the Founder, Formation of Fransalian Associates, Formation of Fransalian Youth and opening of new missions in the periphery of the society may be blessed to disseminate the spirituality of St. Francis de Sales, we pray
JUNE
That our educational ministry may radiate humility and education of the heart, inviting our students to admit their failures and accept the values and convictions of parents and teachers who form them, we pray
JULY
That we may grow in justice and charity before God and humanity through sincere and faithful management of the temporal goods entrusted to our care in the community, we pray
AUGUST
That we become synodal in our religious and community life and leadership by listening to one another, respecting, and understanding each other in our communities, we pray
SEPTEMBER
That all the participants of Salesian Program Annecy (SPA) grow deeper in Salesian spirituality and Mermierian spirit and be an agent of renewal in their respective units, we pray
OCTOBER
That Fr. Peter Mermier may strengthen the missionary zeal of all confreres, especially those working in mission land, and that devotion to him may be intensified so that the process of beatification can progress, we pray
NOVEMBER
That we may have the grace and strength to face every difficulty, trial, struggle, and temptation to live our evangelical counsels and thereby continue to witness the Gospel values, we pray
DECEMBER
That all our benefactors and well-wishers who support us spiritually and materially may enjoy good health and their sacrifices bear fruit in our missions, we pray
LIVE JESUS
